I take pizza pretty seriously, so finding the best pizza in Luxembourg has been a very enjoyable research project. Luckily, for such a small country, Luxembourg has a surprisingly good pizza scene.
Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of them, from proper Neapolitan pizzas to casual takeaway spots and Italian restaurants where pizza is only one part of a much bigger menu. Rather than give you an enormous list, I’ve narrowed this guide down to the places I genuinely recommend and happily return to again and again.
These aren’t ranked because I like them for different reasons. Sometimes I want the full Italian restaurant experience. Sometimes I want a great pizza without spending a fortune. And sometimes, apparently, I want a pizza that’s a metre long.
My Favourite Places for Pizza in Luxembourg

La Torre is one of those places that feels properly Italian from the moment you walk through the door. Tucked away in Limpertsberg, it’s somewhere I go when I want more than simply a good pizza. I want the whole experience.
The pizzas are classic Neapolitan style, cooked in a wood-fired oven with that soft, slightly charred crust that I love. The atmosphere is warm and traditional rather than trendy, which is part of its appeal.
There are plenty of other Italian dishes on the menu, but for me, this is first and foremost a pizza destination. In warmer weather, the terrace is also lovely for a long lunch or relaxed dinner.

Onesto is one of those Luxembourg restaurants that I think offers genuinely excellent value, particularly considering its location right in the centre of the city.
The pizzas are delicious, but this is also a great choice when you’re eating with people who don’t necessarily want pizza. Their pastas are fantastic too, and there’s a much broader Italian menu to choose from.
I also love the setting. It’s in a beautiful historic building and feels like somewhere you can settle in for a proper dinner without the bill suddenly becoming ridiculous.
Good food, lovely atmosphere, friendly service and excellent value. There’s a reason I keep recommending it.

Cloud Factory has become one of the names to know for pizza in Luxembourg, and deservedly so.
The pizzas have those beautifully airy, puffy crusts you want from a Neapolitan-style pizza, along with excellent ingredients and combinations that go beyond the standard menu you’ll find at your neighbourhood pizzeria. I also like that they often offer limited-edition pizzas (like the one in my photo) that keep the Neapolitan quality but offer unique ingredients that somehow always go well together. I thought I was going to hate this Luxembourgish pizza with ham and pickles. It turned out I couldn’t stop ordering it.
It’s also one of those places that works for different occasions. Grab one to take away, meet someone for a casual lunch or make an evening of it at one of the larger locations.
And a glass of Prosecco alongside your pizza never hurts.
Locations: Luxembourg City, Merl and Esch-sur-Alzette

I don’t have an elaborate explanation for why I love Fama. The food is simply really good.
Alongside the regular menu, they frequently offer special pizzas, and those are often what tempt me. The combinations change, they’re usually a little more interesting than your standard pizza order, and they tend to be delicious.
It’s one of those places where I always check the specials before deciding what to order.

Nonna Nenetta
For pizza that is just so freaking good and incredibly kind staff.
Nonna Nenetta is easily one of my favourite places for pizza in Luxembourg.
The pizza here is just so good. Proper Italian pizza with fantastic dough, quality ingredients and the kind of flavour that makes you start thinking about your next visit before you’ve even finished eating.
There are plenty of pizza restaurants in Luxembourg that I think are good. Nonna Nenetta is one I genuinely get excited about going back to.

And now for something completely different.
Porta Vecchia in Esch is not fancy, and that’s precisely why I think it’s worth knowing about. It’s primarily a takeaway and delivery kind of place, although you can absolutely eat there. Just go knowing that you’re there for the pizza rather than a glamorous night out.
And what a pizza.
One of the reasons I love Porta Vecchia is its metre-long pizza, which is brilliant for sharing and surprisingly good value for Luxembourg. More importantly, the pizza itself is genuinely delicious.
It’s casual, fun and excellent price-to-quality, especially if you’re feeding a group or family. Sometimes you don’t need beautiful interiors and an elaborate dining experience. You just need a huge, delicious pizza on the table.

Luxembourg has a seriously good pizza scene, and these are some of the places I find myself returning to and recommending most often. I’ll keep updating this list as I discover new favourites because, obviously, I’m always willing to do more pizza research.
